Description

The City of Fullerton is seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Lead Worker to support the maintenance, repair, and reliability of the City's vehicle and equipment fleet.

The ideal candidate is an experienced fleet or equipment mechanic with a strong background in maintaining and repairing light- and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, including exposure to electric or alternative-fuel vehicles. They bring hands-on technical expertise, the ability to lead by example, coordinate daily shop workflow, and support a small team in a fast-paced fleet environment. The successful candidate communicates clearly and professionally, uses basic computer systems to document work and track maintenance, prioritizes safety and quality, and exercises sound judgment while working independently with minimal supervision in support of reliable municipal fleet operations.
