Overview
A leading global asset manager is seeking an experienced Fund Launch Consultant to lead the end-to-end design, coordination and execution of a private credit fund launch targeting institutional investors (pension funds, private equity firms and other sophisticated allocators).

This individual will be responsible for mapping, establishing and delivering the full operational, governance and launch framework through first close and post-launch stabilisation.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fund launch process for the programme from structuring through go-live
• Conduct stakeholder interviews across Investments, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Risk, Finance and Distribution
• Map and document the full launch lifecycle (process diagrams, governance framework, RACI, controls)
• Design and implement operating model for private credit strategy
• Coordinate service provider selection (administrator, custodian, auditor, etc.)
• Oversee US fund structuring considerations where applicable
• Prepare launch readiness framework and execution timeline
• Manage first close mechanics and post-launch issue resolution
• Establish repeatable process framework for future fund launches

Required Experience

• 8-10+ years' experience in asset management or alternatives
• Direct experience launching private credit / private debt funds or as a Product Manager analysing end to end launch cycles
• Strong institutional fund background (pension, insurance, sovereign capital)
• Experience with US fund structures a nice to have
• Understanding of governance, regulatory and operational requirements
• Prior role within a leading asset manager, alternatives platform, or specialist financial services consultancy

• Strong BA/programme leadership capability
• Able to operate across front office and infrastructure functions
• Highly organised with strong documentation and process design skills
• Experience producing end-to-end operating model and workflow diagrams
